Oryx Hunts Texas

The Lucky 7 Exotic ranch offers 4 Species of Trophy Oryx Hunts Texas including Gemsbok, Scimitar, Arabian and Scimbok Oryx.

Gemsbok, or South African oryx (Oryx gazella) is a large antelope in the genus Oryx. It is native to the arid regions of Southern Africa, such as the Kalahari Desert.

Scimitar Oryx or scimitar-horned oryx (Oryx dammah), also known as the Sahara oryx, is a species of Oryx once widespread across North Africa which went extinct in the wild in 2000. Now thanks to Conservation efforts by Large Texas ranches populations are booming. Extinction was avoided and sport hunting dollars saved a species.

Scimbok Oryx is a cross between a Scimitar x Gemsbok Oryx. They have a reddish coat with Long horns

Arabian Oryx or white oryx (Oryx leucoryx) is a medium-sized antelope with a distinct shoulder bump, long, straight horns, and a tufted tail. It is a bovid, and the smallest member of the genus Oryx, native to desert and steppe areas of the Arabian Peninsula.

Our 3,000 acre ranch has produced 7 of the Top 10 Record Book entries for our Hunters. The Lucky 7 Exotic Ranch has a large self sustaining herd. Oryx will run for miles when spooked. They will hide in thick brush and have great instincts making these large antelope great to hunt. Table fare is delicious.
